With a combined legacy of over 50 years in veterinary service, Dr. Melanie Irvine and Dr. Michael Woodcock have taken the helm at Landsborough and Glasshouse Mountains Vet Surgery. As they proudly carry the torch forward, Dr. Tom remains an integral part of our team, continuing his dedicated service on select days.
Dr. Melanie Irvine:
A Sunshine Coast local with over 25 years in veterinary practice, Dr. Mel has previously owned another clinic. Now, she's chosen Landsborough and Glasshouse as her new base, bringing vast medical expertise to ensure your pets get the premium care they deserve. As a pet parent to two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, including a playful puppy, she understands pet ownership firsthand.
Dr. Michael Woodcock:
With 30 years of experience running a clinic at the Gold Coast, Dr. Michael transitioned to the Sunshine Coast 7 years ago and hasn't looked back. Once an owner of multiple pets on a sprawling 9-acre property, he now enjoys the company of his black and white cat, "Hashtag". Dr. Michael specializes in advanced surgical procedures and showcases his expertise weekly.
Dr. Tom Duggan:
A figure who needs no introduction, Dr. Tom has been the backbone of our practice for 9 years. Though he initially catered to both large and small animals, he's recently pivoted exclusively to small animal care. Available for consultations three days a week, he's passed on the ownership baton to Dr. Mel and Dr. Michael.
